AG Internationale Solidarität

Seit über 13 Jahren arbeitet die InterSol zum Thema Internationalismus. In der Vergangenheit waren Schwerpunkte unserer Arbeit Unterstützung und Austausch mit Projekten und Kämpfen von unten in anderen Ländern, Beteiligung an Treffen und Aktionen der Bewegung gegen den Neoliberalismus sowie Anti-Militarismus. Seit ungefähr dem Jahr 2007 stehen Antirassismus und Migration im Mittelpunkt unserer Arbeit.

Für uns ist Antirassismus eine konkrete und kontinuierliche Form von internationaler Solidarität vor Ort. Deshalb führen wir antirassistische Kämpfe in erster Linie zusammen mit den Betroffenen. Darüber hinaus versuchen wir auch, die Perspektive migrantischer Kämpfe in andere emanzipatorische Projekte zu tragen. So haben wir uns für das Thema Migration im Rahmen der Proteste gegen den G 8-Gipfel in Heiligendamm stark gemacht.
In unserer täglichen Praxis arbeiten wir mit einigen Antira-, MigrantInnen- und Flüchtlingsselbsthilfe-Organisationen in verschiedenen Bündnissen zusammen. Wir kämpfen gegen alle Formen von Alltags- und strukturellen Rassismus. Auf der lokalen Ebene sind unsere Schwerpunkte und Forderungen:

• Alle Lager, einschließlich Abschiebegefängnisse, Flüchtlingsheime und Ausreisezentren, müssen geschlossen werden. Menschenwürdig ist nur die Unterbringung in einer eigenen Wohnung.
• Menschen, die zu undokumentierter Arbeit gezwungen sind, brauchen unsere Unterstützung.
• Alle Formen rassistischer Sonderbehandlung und rassistisch motivierter Polizeigewalt müssen bekämpft werden.

Auf internationaler Ebene kooperieren wir mit verschiedenen Gruppen und Initiativen, um die europäische Abschottungspolitik zu sabotieren, die zu immer mehr Toten auf dem Weg in die Länder des globalen Nordens führt, und setzen ihr die Forderung der globalen Bewegungsfreiheit für alle entgegen.
Als Teil von FelS beteiligen wir uns am Mayday einschließlich der Parade am 1. Mai und wollen dabei MigrantInnen und Flüchtlinge, die in besonderer Weise von Prekarität betroffen sind, einbinden und organisieren.

InterSol has been doing work around international solidarity for thirteen years. In the past we have supported and exchanged ideas with projects and grassroots struggles in other countries, have participated in meetings and protests of the movement against neo-liberalism and anti-militarism. Since 2007 our focus has been on (anti-)racism and on issues surrounding migration. 

Anti-racism for us is a concrete and local continuation of international solidarity. That’s why we fight side by side with activists personally affected by racism. We also try to include the perspective of immigrant protests in larger struggles for emancipation. During the actions against the G8 summit in Heiligendamm in 2007, for example, we were one of the groups to speak out for an anti-racist march. In our day-to-day activism we cooperate closely with anti-racist, migrant, and self-organized refugee organizations in various alliances. We fight against all kinds of inter-personal and structural racism.
On a local level our focuses and demands are:

• All camps, including detention prisons, refugee homes and detention centers need to be shut down. We firmly believe that the only way to live with dignity is in one’s own space with the freedom to move as s/he wishes.
• People forced to work without papers need our support.
• All kinds of racist (special) treatment and racist police violence need to be stopped immediately.

On an international level, we work with various groups and initiatives to sabotage Fortress Europe, which is responsible for a growing number of fatalities, as a result of people unsuccessfully trying to immigrate to the global North. We call for the freedom of movement for all and a repeal of existing nation-state borders.
As part of FelS, we participate in the Mayday protests, including the parade on May1. We strive to include and organize refugees and immigrant that are particularly affected by precarity.
